Ruby’s burger and fries for $2.90

This is an annual promotion that you can really get into, if you’re a meat eater.

Ruby’s Diner is selling its burger and fry combo for $2.90 Wednesday (Dec. 7, 2011) to celebrate its 29th birthday.

This deal starts at 11:30 a.m. until closing and you have to eat it in the restaurant–no take-out.

The deal is not valid at the Shake Shack or airport locations.

Last time they offered one of these deals, we got there just shortly before it started, and people were already starting to line up, for your information.

I like Ruby’s. But the way this company is taking over all the historic locations in OC, like on the piers and the Shake Shack, pretty soon I expect them to buy the Mission at San Juan Capistrano and rebrand it as a Ruby’s Mission Diner.
